A Better Quality of Life for Seniors in Singapore

We’ve teamed up with the Singapore Red Cross once again, to support vulnerable seniors living on their own in Tampines. Together, we donated essential items packs, as well as sweet treats to brighten up their day. Over 88 thousand Singaporean elders live on their own, having no one to care for them. Our first donation in 2023 continued our support for Sistema Cyprus, a social-orchestra and choir for children and young people in need. We surprised young musicians with useful gifts, to help develop their musical journey. XM Donates to Victims of Turkey-Syria Earthquake

A massive earthquake devastated Turkey and Syria, leaving many survivors struggling to cope without shelter or food in challenging weather conditions. To support children, as the most vulnerable victims, we donated to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). UNICEF is supporting search and rescue efforts and distributing necessities. Our latest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused attention closer to home, with the renovation program of the Amerikos Argyriou Paediatric Clinic in Limassol. Our donation is being used to improve facilities and buy essential supplies for the centre, as it undergoes a facelift and modernises. XM Supports Vulnerable Elders in Peru

This December, XM and the Peruvian charity Nietos Itinerantes organised a bingo game for seniors in need living at the San Miguel Residential Care Centre in Lima, while also donating vital medical supplies. In November 2022, XM and Benih Baik, a local non-profit organisation, collaborated to donate food to the victims of the devastating earthquake which had hit West Java, Indonesia. On November 21, the Cianjur region, located on the west coast of Java Island, suffered a 5.6 magnitude earthquake.
